STATE MUSEUM OF THE HISTORY OF COSMONAUTICS NAMED AFTER K.E. TSIOLKOVSKY

This first astronautics museum in the world, the largest astronautics museum in Russia, was established with direct participation of S.P. Korolyov and Yu.A. Gagarin  in 1967.

The construction of the second stage of the museum started in 2014 was completed in the spring of 2021. It is a new modern building of 12,500 sqm, which is nearly four times more than the area of the original museum. The exhibition area of the museum increased by a factor of 5, a multi-purpose auditorium and a cinema hall were opened.
