SOLOVETSKY MONASTERYSolovetsky settlement, Arkhangelsk Oblast

The Solovetsky Transfiguration Monastery is located in the Solovetsky settlement, Arkhangelsk Oblast, on Solovetsky Island in the White Sea.
In 1992, the entirety of monuments of the Solovetsky Reserve Museum  was listed on the UNESCO Universal Heritage List, and in 1995 – on the State List of the Most Valuable Sites of Cultural Heritage of the Peoples of the Russian Federation.
